This project reimagined a residential courtyard into a tranquil, multifunctional outdoor retreat centered around the client’s desire for a peaceful sitting area and soaking pool. The design integrated a broad sliding door to connect interior living spaces with the courtyard, enhancing indoor-outdoor flow and redefining spatial relationships.
I contributed to reconfiguring the entry sequence, including the redesign of the main gate and the addition of a stair providing access to a new bedroom above the garage. Decorative wood panels and a cohesive landscape strategy elevated the visual identity and usability of the exterior spaces.
Water elements—including a sculptural feature and compact pool—were carefully incorporated to blend aesthetics with sensory experience. The result was a cohesive transformation that merged practical upgrades with serene design, aligned with the client’s vision and the home's architectural character.
