This project involved the renovation of a residential tower’s community lounge, focusing on upgrading the bar, kitchenette, entry, lighting, and furnishings to enhance both functionality and ambiance. The scope included a new electrical system, lighting design, and a complete refresh of interior finishes.
As lead designer, Ioana Chinan was responsible for the selection of interior furnishings and finishes, including materials, color palettes, and textures that supported the project’s design intent while meeting the functional needs of the space. Her approach centered on creating a cohesive and welcoming environment that elevated the overall lounge experience.
Ioana also developed detailed technical drawings to translate the design into construction-ready documents, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and code compliance. She coordinated the permit process from preparation to submission, working closely with city officials to secure timely approvals. During construction, she managed finish and lighting fixtures procurement and oversaw implementation to ensure the completed work remained consistent with the design vision.
